Robert (Bob) Krieger, Chief Executive Officer, Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute
Robert (Bob) Krieger joined Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute as the Chief Executive Officer on November 1, 2016. He had previously joined Osceola Regional Medical Center as the Chief Executive Officer on March, 2013. Bob has over 35 years of experience in hospital leadership with Columbia, Galen, Humana, Tenet and HCA. He previously served as CEO of Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL (2006-2010), CEO of Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL (1992-2006), CEO of Humana Hospital Suburban, Louisville (1989-1992) and CEO of Humana Hospital Biscayne in Miami (1983-1989). Bob also served as a consultant to hospitals in Florida and California.
Accomplishments in the past included starting a Graduate Medical Education Program, opening a Free Standing Emergency Department, state approval for both Comprehensive Stroke Program and Level II Trauma Center.
Born in New Jersey, Bob lived and graduated from high school in Miami. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Master in Business Administration from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.
Bob is married to Maggie and both have adult children living in Florida and Texas.
