Birthing Center in St. Lucie County, Florida
At Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, we provide comprehensive care throughout labor and delivery. We offer a range of services through our Birthing Center, and we also provide support for mothers as they transition back home with their new babies.
For more information about our women's care services, call our Consult-A-Nurse® team at (772) 742-9050.

- Breastfeeding Class: This class explores the benefits and best practices of breastfeeding.
- Childbirth Education Class: This class covers the signs and stages of labor and the skills you'll use during labor and birth. We also talk about medical interventions, including C-sections, and when they might be used.
- Safely Caring for Your Baby Class: This class discusses infant safety and how to care for your newborn.
View our calendar for upcoming classes, and call (772) 460-2571 to register and reserve your spot.
Neonatal intensive care unit
At our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), we provide immediate care for ill or premature newborns. Since the NICU is located in our Birthing center, our facility is uniquely equipped to provide this level of care the moment it's needed. When your infant is discharged from the NICU, we offer ongoing care through a range of other pediatric services.
